Where style systems help with outfit decisions
My wardrobe notebook now contains several weeks of outfit notes. For the first pass I am reading the notes without pictures. My descriptions alternate between everyday details and style categories. I bookmarked body shape and colour analysis as one starting point for thinking about those categories. What interests me is whether a style system can help organize observations without replacing them with assumptions about what I ought to wear. I repeatedly mention enjoying a more defined waistline. Those comments sit alongside details about fabric and daily plans. I would struggle to isolate a single reason from these notes. I am considering a simpler set of prompts for future entries. I also want to leave room for changing my mind, since an outfit that suits one kind of day may feel wrong on another. How would you organize this diary before attempting any body typing?
