For a remote style workshop, I need to present several hair color options using a single portrait. The purpose is to discuss the colors themselves, rather than reward whichever version has the nicest presentation. Using one crop seems important because a closer face can make one version feel much more striking. While looking into a hair color simulator I started making a checklist of the settings that should stay consistent. I plan to keep the original background and avoid making one version brighter just to improve its appearance. Simple numbered labels would let participants describe differences before seeing the names attached to the shades. I will explain that the images are discussion aids and cannot show exactly how real coloring would turn out. After the first comments, I can add the labels and ask whether anyone wants to revise their description. Are there any obvious controls missing from this plan for presenting hair color alternatives? |
