Boosting your Combat Power (CP) and Gear Score (GS) in Aion 2 is a systematic journey that relies on unlocking permanent progression systems rather than chasing a single lucky drop. If you try to rely purely on RNG to get ahead, you will quickly find yourself hitting a wall. Instead, focusing on consistent daily routines and account-wide unlocks is what truly separates top-tier players from the rest of the pack.
Milestone Gearing Strategy
Your path from a fresh level 45 to endgame power follows a distinct cycle of activities. You cannot jump straight into the hardest raids, so it is best to view your progression in stages.
  • 1500 – 1600 GS (Campaign Completion & Early Grind): Focus on finishing up the main story content. Your main goal here is to secure basic Kromede or Vakron gear to establish your baseline stats.
  • 1650 – 1700 GS (Transcendence Content): This is where the real progression mechanics open up. You will want to start pushing Transcendence content and actively farming Blue and Gold Arcanas to slot into your layout.
  • 1800 – 2400 GS (Sky Island Farms): Spend your time running Vakron's Sky Island and farming Nightmare difficulty content to work toward your Ariel Daevanion gear.
  • 2800 – 3100+ GS (Elite Dungeons & Raids): The true endgame. At this stage, you are looking to clear Transcendence 10, tackle Dramata, optimize your Superior Manastones, and upgrade your Pets for those final massive CP pushes.

1. Master the Monolith & Feather Collecting
One of the easiest ways to secure permanent, account-wide power is through the Monolith system. It requires a bit of legwork, but it pays off massively in the long run.
Open your in-game map settings and make sure you are actively tracking Amperion Fragments and Amperion Traces. Collect these as you explore, and bring them back to the Algard Monolith in your faction's main city—look for the Red Monolith if you are playing Asmodian, or the Yellow one if you are an Elyos.
Upgrading this statue all the way to Level 30 yields permanent skill points. These points give your character an immediate power surge that stays with you regardless of what gear you have equipped.
2. Clean Up Every Green Quest at Level 45
It is common practice to sprint through the yellow episode quests to hit the level 45 cap as fast as possible. However, once you reach the cap, you need to backtrack and clear out all the regional Green Quests you left behind.
These quests are goldmines for progression materials. As you clear them, use the "dissolve method"—breaking down old, low-tier, or unneeded quest gear—to stockpile essential Enhancement Stones and Daevanion Crystals.
Additionally, take your Shugo reward tokens and exchange them directly for Daevanion Crystals. You can socket these crystals straight into your progression boards for raw, permanent CP boosts that significantly raise your floor.
3. Farm Abyss Points (AP) for Guaranteed PvP Upgrades
Do not neglect PvP content, even if you are primarily a PvE-focused player. The Abyss Point (AP) gear economy offers some of the most reliable stat increases in the game.
Make it a habit to complete Command Shop quests in major outposts, such as Zumian Village for Elyos players, and make sure to queue up for your weekly Battlefields. When it comes to spending your hard-earned AP, prioritize Accessories first. They are relatively inexpensive compared to weapons or armor, they heavily inflate your total CP, and many top-tier players actually continue using them deep into endgame progression because the raw stats are so efficient.
4. Optimize Arcanas, Manastones, and Soulbinding
Once you have a solid set of gear, your attention should immediately shift to fine-tuning your sockets and sub-stats. This is where a lot of hidden CP is buried.
First, aim to acquire Gold Arcanas and try to roll high-value damage attributes on them. When slotting your gear, infuse it with Superior Manastones and Soulstones, focusing strictly on the stats that move the needle: Weapon Damage Boost, Critical Damage Boost, Attack, and Accuracy.
Finally, do not forget to use Soulbinding on your primary armor and weapon slots. This process locks in high-tier random stats, giving you an instant boost to your overall combat efficiency and making sure your hard work on gear rolls doesn't go to waste.
5. Clear Your Account Caps Weekly
Aion 2 heavily rewards patience and consistency over short, exhausting marathons. Because progression is tied to strict time-gates, you need to maximize your resource limits every single week.
Ensure you hit your weekly Odyelle limit without fail, and cap out your daily 1 Million Kinah and Soul Crystal limits. If you have extra time, join an active, established guild that hosts weekly Ludra carry runs. Getting carried through high-level content on your main character, or even setting up alt accounts to funnel resources, is the absolute fastest shortcut to bridging the daunting 2500+ CP gap and unlocking true endgame content.
