I am trying to make a small secondhand work wardrobe feel coherent without replacing everything. My work clothes are mostly secondhand, so finding the right size already limits which colors are available. I would like a few pieces that work together instead of a collection of individually appealing bargains. The reliable pieces are a charcoal jacket and a pair of cream shirts that I wear most weeks. My next purchase will probably be a knit layer, but I cannot compare every possible shade in person. Would you begin with outfit combinations, then check the face, or reverse that order when narrowing the options? I am using this as an introduction to personal color analysis but I do not want a seasonal category to become a reason to discard clothes that already work. How would you keep this process simple enough to use while browsing, with only a few minutes per item? |
