My office is bringing back regular in-person days, so I have been trying on jackets again. A cropped shape looks balanced in a photo but feels awkward when I sit at my desk. Longer jackets solve that problem but change the outline of every outfit underneath. I bookmarked personal style analysis as a starting point for naming what I am comparing. My aim is to compare garment lines with my proportions, without turning a category into a restriction. Would you keep the trousers and shoes identical while testing different jacket lengths? My plan is to photograph both angles and record whether each jacket stays comfortable seated. Advice about shoulder seams would help too, since size labels have not been consistent. I would like the final choice to work with a backpack and ordinary walking shoes. How would you organize that experiment before bringing style-system terminology into it? |
